Antioxidative Treatment method by Ixeris dentata for Conquer Cancer and Stress

Abstract
Studies on the biological activities of Ixeris dentata(IXD) were carried out for develop to find Its bioactive compounds. Fresh juice and dried powder of IXD were partitioned with n-hexane followed by EtOAc, and n-BuOH to give n-hexane, EtOAc, n-BuOH and aqueous fractions, respectively The DPPH test, lipid peroxidation, and microcidal activities of each fractions were investigated. The EtOAc and n-BuOH soluble fractions of fresh Juice and dned powder showed the potent antioxidative, anticancer, antistress and inhibition activity against lipid peroxidation the fractions of dned powder showed more effects than those of fresh juice. In microcidal effects, the n-haxane and EtOAc fractions exhibited microcidal effects against E coh at the concentration of 250 pg/ml In addition, Using mouse peritoneal macrophages, we have examined the mechamsm by which green sap of Ixeris dentata regulates nitric oxide(NO) production. When IXD was used in combination with recombinant interferon-Y(rIFN-Y), there was a marked cooperative induction of NO production. From these results, it is suggested that IXD is to be useful in source material for neutraceutical and pharmaceutical applications.
